"Who can ever say, 'I have cleansed my heart; I am sinless'?" (Proverbs 20:9)
The Bible makes it clear that we are ALL sinners. Therefore, we ALL need a Savior. The Saviors name is Jesus. Jesus is God. God Himself came to earth in human form, lived a SINLESS life, and paid the price for our sins by dying in our place. Jesus is the ONLY way because only He is sinless. He was the only one able to die for sins. Remember, God is a HOLY God. So it doesn't matter if you're a good person. We all have sin in our life and there can be NO sin in His presence. But God who is rich in love and mercy provided a way for our salvation. By believing in Jesus' sacrifice for our sin, we are actually giving Him all our sins. Our sins, past, present, future, flies back through time slamming Him on that cross. His death 2000 years ago, pays the price for my sins today. But wait, it get's even better... when we come to Christ, we trade Him ALL our sin (past, present, future) for His pure and perfect righteousness. You see... we can never be "right" on our own because we are sinners. But through Jesus, we take on His "righteousness" and enter in to a personal relationship with the God of the universe. That my friends is the GOOD NEWS! Believe it. Look into it. Accept it and be saved. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
