Through God, and God alone is eternal life. No good deed or even a lifetime of good deeds will get you into heaven. Rather, eternal life is gained by trusting and obeying Christ and His word, which can only come through His Spirit living in you. Does He live in you? Do you know for sure? Be careful, the enemy is a master of disguise. Even Hitler thought he was a good person. The Bible clearly shows us we can't and won't get to heaven simply by "good works."

Go and see what this means! Don't set this aside. Search the scriptures and pray for God to reveal Himself to you. Hunger and thirst for truth and He will fill you.

T.G.I.M!!! Live every day to the fullest! Live like today is your last day but also the first day of something new. Take initiative! Work hard rather than hardly work! Be all that you can be! Shine!

My prayer for you, friends, is not that God would give you wealth. That would only distract you from the riches found in Christ. My prayer is not that God would give you health. That would only diminish the daily dependence for life that comes from Christ. My prayer for you is not for comfort or happiness or food or success. All these things can only be a blessing when Christ is placed before them all. 

My prayer for you, friends, is that of which the Apostle Paul prayed for his friends in Ephesus: "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better." (Ephesians 1:17) 

​Quite often the only way we can know God better is by allowing Him to take away the things in life we cling to. Anything we seek, desire or cling to more than Christ is an idle and it is not only forbidden but will create a hindrance to knowing the true riches and blessings found in Christ. During this time in our nations history, as anytime, we need to be in prayer and focused on God. Place your hope and trust in His promises rather than the empty promises of man.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

In a day and age where people are fascinated with ghosts and especially during this time of year with Halloween approaching, I felt it would be appropriate, as the church, to talk about the HOLY GHOST. Another term used to describe this would be the "Holy Spirit". Through the Holy Spirit we receive power (Acts 1:8). Through the Holy Spirit we receive an abundant AND eternal life (Jn 6:63). Through the Holy Spirit we are able to understand the deep things of God along with all spiritual truths (1 Co 2:10-14). Through the Holy Spirit we have a counselor/helper/friend with us at all times (Jn 14:16-17). Through the Holy Spirit we are convicted (become aware) of sin (Jn 16:8). Through the Holy Spirit we are made right with God (1 Co 6:11).

Friends, whats up with all the talk about ghosts when the Holy Ghost is never mentioned? It's almost forbidden to speak of the Holy Ghost while speaking of every other ghost and evil under the sun.

It doesn't matter where you are, what time period or what culture you live in, there will be many gods you hear about. It's up to the individual if they want to follow those gods or not. As for me and my household we will follow the God of the Bible. He is the creator of all things, the God of all gods, all powerful, all knowing and ever present. He is holy, loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, righteous and just. He is the ONLY God! See for yourself. Read His word that He has prepared for you so you can know Him, the TRUE God. Do not put your trust in man and man made gods.

Only Christianity has a risen Savior. He is the exalted Lord and the coming King! What will you say to this Savior when you see Him?
